From the assignment text on t-square:

What you turn in:

1) On Tsquare: In the “Groups” wiki page add a list entry for your group, with the names and email addresses of each member, and the URL of your project page

2) On your project page: follow the instructions for constructing your team page (see instructions on the class website). At this point you will just have the basic information about your team members, but in the future you will place all your prototypes, game design documentation, and project snapshots here.

T-Square doesn’t seem to want me to submit this morning, but I know at least one of the other members on my team already turned in the slides.

I think powerpoint will deal with it!

I know changing formats can mess up the slides so I just wanted to check.

Comment on Assignment 0: Unity Warmup by blair https://github.blairmacintyre.me/site-archive/cs4455f11/assignments/assignment-0-unity-warmup/#comment-8 Thu, 01 Sep 2011 01:25:34 +0000 http://cs4455f11.computing4fun.org/?page_id=43#comment-8 (From your TA, Chris)

If you hare having trouble getting your assignment to play on the web, your host may be to blame. PRISM WORKS, but if you are hosting on your own website, there may be some server-side problems if your are getting a “download failed” type error.

Thanks to Byrant Malaski for the solution:

Basically, if your unity file is not loading you need to add a web.config into either the root directory of your server, or into the folder that holds the .unity3d file.

Here is the code:
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″ ?>
<configuration>
<system.webServer>
<staticContent>
<mimeMap fileExtension=”.unity3d” mimeType=”application/vnd.unity” />
</staticContent>
</system.webServer>
</configuration>
</code>
If that does not work they can contact their host. Phew.

If we have time on Thursday, we can talk a bit about it, to help you think about it on the weekend. Maribeth and I will also be giving some (terse) examples Thursday, as part of a discussion of “this is what a set of pitch slides look like.”
