Cristobal Alvarez-Russell

I am a fourth year Ph.D student in Computer science in the School of Interactive Computing, College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology. My research work is done within the context of the Augmented Environments Lab, which is part of the Graphics, Visualization and Usability Center. My research covers topics related to augmented reality (AR) and computer graphics (CG). I am particularly interested on how to make AR experiences seem more visually real and believable. For this purpose, I try to make use of the newest real-time CG techniques and hardware features whenever possible, especially shader programming. My advisors are Prof. Blair MacIntyre and Prof. Greg Turk.
